I have a PhD in Cinema and New Technologies and an MA in International Cinema from the University of Bedfordshire. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana, reading combined majors in French and Theatre Arts.

Research Focus

My research interest is in the fields of new media technologies and their bearings on filmmaking and the formation of identities. My current focus is on audio visual and textual accounts as (re)presented by West African filmmakers and media practitioners, which are a consequence of intercultural contact mediated by the new technologies of the twenty first century.
